Your new home, Château Saint Jacques Calon, is ideally located on the hill of Montagne, in the heart of the Bordeaux Wine Country, just a stone throw away from downtown Saint Emilion (3 miles). Châteaux Beauséjour, Angélus, Ausone as well as the legendary Pétrus, Figeac and Cheval Blanc are all less than 5 minutes away from the house. A 35 minute drive will take you to any of the other Bordeaux appellations including Médoc (Chateau Margaux), Graves, Sauternes (Chateau Yquem) or the Entre Deux Mers.

The large Italian tile pool (1200 square foot) and your comfortable room will be perfect for you to relax after a hard day of wine tasting and fine dinning.

The top of the hill in our backyard, where five 15th century wind mills stand proud, is the ideal spot to watch the sun go down with a breath taking 360 degree view over Pomerol and Saint-Emilion. Very romantic!
